Come to Canada! A country with more
than its share of natural beauty in its lakes
and rivers, mountains and forests. Not to
discount the richness of its natural resources.
Natural resources the envy of the world but
no richness must befall the nation since its
prime minister insists that oil and gas must
remain in situ. Food is plentiful in this country.
It is, indeed, one of few nations that sends out
copious levels of grains and seeds to a hungry
world. Alas, it will become scarcer since its
prime minister sees relevance in abstaining from
the use of fertilizer lest the environment object.
Canada's universal medicare, its livable cities
have suffered a setback for the lamentable lack
of both physicians and affordable housing. Its
prime minister nonetheless graciously invites
the homeless and discontent of the world to come
and join its workforce. Mind, their visas will be
long in coming since illegal migrant applications
take precedence and the legal ones wait...and wait.
This land of wealth and opportunities also offers
solutions to ill health, unhappiness and poverty in
access to medical assistance to dying for the elderly,
sick, discontent, poor and mentally disturbed. If
on the other hand, opioid addiction rules and ruins
your life, solutions there are also available through
compassionate street clinics offering sterile needles
and medical-grade narcotics to wean one from a life
of degradation and hopelessness, yet another well
intentioned intervention leading to untimely death.
