Anywhere on Western soil where acts of random terror
are committed through the infiltration of state defence
of people and values authorities name it for what it is: terrorism
death through the violence of theocratic conviction in a
cause viewed by the perpetrators as their sacred mission.
When their faith demands it they are absolved of murder
for the method and the means are a consecration of
their faith, making them no less terrorists in the view
of the attacked. When the major obstacle to coerced
conversion is the indifference of disinterest death is
deemed deserved and the attackers boast of their love
of death, scorning the qualms of others that they may not
live another day. In homage to the glory of theism death
is but a minor surrender of self for a higher purpose
culminating in elevation to a higher plane of existence
forever glorified as a blessed martyr. The origins of that
existential conflict is one between conflicting spiritual
masters, praising and pleasing the sanctified, acts of
human debasement of the life force of humanity in a
quaint reversal of apprehensions, where terrorists
become 'activists', 'fighters' or 'militants' when they
mount deadly assaults on a target the world at large
has experienced exhaustive efforts to achieve in vain.
