Beauty is indeed in the eye of the beholder
which begs the question of this philosophical
observation: why is it that so many fail to
recognize beauty in the most fundamental of
all possible arenas, where the lens of so many
eyes remain oblivious to the gifts that generous
nature offers us in abundance? No day is quite
the same as the day preceding it nor those that
follow. The quick and questing mind looks
about in a wonder of ephemeral choices given
humanity through courtesy of the seasons as they
appear in the wilderness of a forest untouched
by humanity's penchant for urbanizing the appeal
of a landscape in its natural verdant splendour.
Seek, said the sage, and ye shall find. Yet few
seem to care and will never approach raw nature
nor feel its nurturing grace. For those that do its
rewards are manifold and life-affirming -- for the
arcane wonder of our obligation to the natural
force of existence both exalts and comforts us.
