Make your smile a warm one, properly
infused with empathy. The eyes are permitted
to express pain felt for others in this most
basic of communications. These expressions
may be genuine but they must go beyond
and above; a quiver of compassion and a
promise to remain stalwart in your shared
campaign for fairness, equity and inclusion
is imperative to the temper of the times for
this is society's most recent transformation
and you must accept that special consideration
to some may deprive others of equal opportunities
if merit and qualifications now are consigned
to history as an unfortunate development
causing anguish to many and seen as undue
entitlements to many others but this is the 
new face of affirmative action. If you feel
intrinsic talent and dedication to analyzing
and performing assigned tasks to the best
of  your ability qualify one for positions of
high value the new equality of opportunity
dictates otherwise. Resign yourself to the 
inevitable in the shadow of new entitlements
practise that sincere commitment to moving
aside to enable equality to take its due place.
