Conjunction

We have arrived at a place and a time

where the new sacrilege has met the new

orthodoxy and they do not get on well

together in the flowering of a world religion 

of obsequious pandering to gender deviants 

accusing greater society of the misdeeds of

oblivious forgetfulness of sins of vicious 

conviction foisted on a global audience of 

guilt-ridden innocents eager to demonstrate 

proof-positive that they are not the descecrators 

of human rights their forbears were even as 

they allow themselves to be pushed to the 

brink of psychical self-immolation becoming 

willing slaves to the mantle of privilege over 

the deserving mass of vulnerable neurotics

whose passion for righteous validation of 

their frail conditions of conflicted eros

emotional immaturity and exceptionalism

is no longer a matter of debate as they 

exhume past injustices demanding reparations

from unctuously quivering politicians and

academics to right the wrongs of the past.

To great acclaim and adoration the brood

of today's social stream of claimants to

special status and pedestals of their very

own caution their anxious persecutors to

override the past with lashings of penance

humbly surrendering their privilege to 

bestow it upon the wronged as they plead

for forgiveness of inherited misdeeds.
