Although a searing hatred so intense
that it leads to ideations of murder is
unspeakably vile, it does not approach
a Holocaust. And while during times of
violent conflict countless death sentences
are imposed on the civilian element of
nations at war, these do not constitute
genocide; that dread label identifying the
horrendous evil of institutionalized carnage
of a people destroyed wholesale. Even so
there are in civilized societies uncivilized
notions that the Holocaust was a fraud and
six million living souls were never consigned
to a tormented early death. This, even while
greater global society is eager to charge
violent assaults by one group upon another
in massive lives lost a despicable genocide.
