The malcontents whose lives in their native land
inspired them not to campaign for changes, but
to abandon the homeland and set out to find
alternatives where rumour had it that prosperity
would come easily abroad as would indigenous
acceptance of the sudden presence of migrants
naming themselves refugees bringing with them
the baggage of culture and religion and a sense of
entitlement in the belief of superior values and
customs delighted to advantage themselves of
social welfare services while eschewing strange
customs of respect accorded others. Soon the
accepting society finds itself facing an upsurge
in social crimes befitting a lawless community
unlike their own where women must become
more circumspect in their dress code or risk rape
as the community of migrants' council demands
while property theft and street brawls, gang action
and illegal drug runs become so very commonplace
the welcoming nation finds itself embattled on
two sides -- by the results of an unstoppable
foreign invasion alongside the disbelief and rage
of a suddenly hostile home public whose lives
have been unceremoniously and savagely upended.
