Two Of A Kind
Small, black and hairy
they are everywhere at once,
each following the other
following you, intent on
missing nothing,
curiosity write large in
their puppy genetic code
a pair of spirited innocents
mischief writhing within
eager to escape the confines
of disciplined patience,
their dark bright eyes
sparked with wonder
at the world they're so
busy discovering that no
one else before them has
ever imagined existed.
