Human interest shares an almost universal
fascination in the unusual and nowhere more so
than in extremes and so the Guinness World Record
is the ultimate in boastful recording of the oldest
the longest, the largest, the most numerous, and
of course the most infamous. Nowhere can a
deserving candidate now be found than in the
persona of a vicious despot whose love of
conflict in mounting military technology upon
helpless civilian enclaves have earned him
the title of most barbaric though history has
waved adieu to many who in their massively
inhumane disregard for human life vied to outdo
one another albeit removed by historical eras.
There can now be no doubt that Imperial Russia's
czar of all the people of Slavic origin is he.
Vladimir Putin's devotion to reuniting brothers
and sisters, uncles and aunts in a broader Kremlin
controlled pact of loving brotherhood expending
every possible method of violent military coercion
to achieve his goal deserves pride of place in
that vaunted mausoleum of record achievements.
