It is an oversight beyond tragic that nature's
complex blueprint for humanity did not include
the capacity of humankind to withstand the
dire effects of munitions striking bones
muscles, sinews nor the ability of a body to
staunch its own bloodflow. Much less an error
in design to inhibit humanity's willingness to
strike war on those unequipped to defend their
own from destructive ravages outside the confines
of the warring bodies. There is an inheritance
however that the majority share, hard-wired
to deplore and resist violent carnage. Of
the kind that tyrants become fond of waging
in the belief they are entitled to rule and to
ruin. Until they are themselves taken aback
at the level of censure they reap in the court
of global reaction to their wanton slaughter.
