The exuberant shopping experience
is a no-contest reality offering goods
that are readily available, easily
replaceable, soon obsolescent and
let's-face-it inexpensive. Abundant
shelves groaning under the weight
of products whose manufacture and
purpose -- to satisfy the purchasing
public's every whim and ostensible
need -- will be comprised of poor
materials badly designed with the
saving grace of cheap. In maintaining
that value syndrome manufacturing has
settled into a system of cheap wages
and what's more forced labour, but that
has nothing to do with Everyone who
focuses on the price tag not the imprint
of source. And so the giant purveyor of
consumer goods of every conceivable
description and purpose strides the world
puissant with the confidence that human
greed is the universal tool enabling its
machinery of cheerful global conquest.
