Refugees -- defined as people in forced or
self-exile from their countries of origin seeking
refuge from the malign persecution of their
governing regimes, hoping that other countries
with developed human rights and economies will
absorb them toward a better future -- exist everywhere
across this globe, escaping conflict, privation and
crimes against humanity. Until they are taken in
elsewhere through the auspices of the United Nations
appealing for intake offers, they live in squalid
camps with temporary accommodation on the
charity of others' grudging support. Then there is
the exception of refugee camps solidly built with
high rise developments and places of worship and
upscale shopping centres, modern architecture and
sub-normal administration where live those who
pride themselves as the world's in-perpetuity victims
refugees who plot and strategize lethal violence
against a nation seated on its ancestral territory. The
world of Islam has produced the world's great and
unstoppable tide of refugees fleeing their rule of
regimes known to slaughter their own in terminal
grievances of tribal and sectarian affliction. Yet
migrants who settled on land not their own claim
themselves victim/refugees with the connivance of
the institute of a world body dedicated to justice and
equality which has damned the victim and elevated
the violent aggressor to fully funded terrorism
forgivable in view of their pitiable refugee status.
