His personal inheritance of energy resources

wealth firmly banked, his name-recognition

bouncing him from drama teacher, snowboard

instructor to Prime Minister of Canada, he came

he saw, he destroyed the integrity of a great country

in the minds of a tolerant population and the opinion

of the international community of nations for whom

Canada's reputation was once that of a sober-minded

practical nation of thoughtful people fortunate to

live in a huge geography lavished with mountains

and forests, lakes and rivers, bordering three great

oceans of the globe. Canada's pride in self as a

nation of immigrants from abroad with two founding

nations has seen itself corrected as a colonialist

nightmare disenculturing the Indigenous population

predating European migration, their prime minister of

today lamenting the racism of yesterday transforming

today's Canada as a racist nation. Championing the

passion of equality for minorities this is the man who

glorified his resume in Blackface. This Canadian leader

upbraids leaders of peer nations for their tardy uptake

in LGBTQ-2 entitlements. Extraction of oil or gas

from Canada's vast resources enriching the nation 

while answering to the dire needs of neighbouring

countries forbidden in the greater interests of curbing

natural cycles of climate variations. The ill, the elderly

and economically disadvantaged may now take advantage

of federally approved assistance in dying. Parents are

berated for insisting they have responsibility for the

future of their minor offspring. The drug-addicted and

mentally fragile in Canada are freely allotted opiates 

in the interests of delaying deadly overdoses in this new

and improved version of a Canada beyond memory.
