Although nature's blueprint for existence
is complex her formula for survival
is simple and basic; creatures cannot
exist where sustenance is absent. In her
great wisdom attrition of species is
linked to many circumstances distinctly
averse to survival, but even the fittest
require the means by which they can
thrive and reproduce. Should a habitat
become deficient as a food source then
migratory creatures seek it elsewhere or
they perish. Among humankind the great
issues of inhumanity create areas inimical
to the survival of people who form desperate
caravans of migrants issuing toward lands
of plenty and peace. As geographies of
failed cultures drain their occupants toward
those of successful societies leaving a
vacuum there and a keening mob here the
Earth will not tilt off its axis but where once
was peace and plenty there will then be rage
and conflict and withering resources.
