We look with wonder at the world around us
aspire to unlock the secrets of the universe
devise analytics of ingenious design enabling
astrophysicists to surmise properties of
unseen particles dispatched by nature to interact
and produce the building blocks of the universe
yet our very own mysteries of humankind's
reaction to our very selves divided by the species'
variant attributes producing wretched antipathies
through which to prey on one another proceed
apace to go undiagnosed. Where groups sequestre
among their own while scorning and degrading
the inheritance of 'the other' bringing to bear
the venomous hatred of differences leading to
an endlessly repeated simmering cauldron of
inhumanity mounting humiliation and misery
on hapless targets in cycles of vicious atrocities on
sufferers whose causation remains unaddressed.
