Living In Interesting Times

Curse not lest ye be cursed. Past masters 

at the subtle art of innuendo cleverly masking 

malicious threats in dexterously manipulating 

thought patterns via implication China finds

itself isolated in a world that suddenly

discovered itself to be living in interesting

times. Times that albeit interesting are also

complicated by the monstrous hovering of

death or malingering malaise causing the

slump of nations' well-being on the social

and economic scale the like of which had

never before been contemplated. Wan

efforts to contain knowledge of the threat

emanating from China hastened its spread

even as the country sent emissaries far and

wide deliberately oblivious they be carriers

of the dread virus for as Beijing asserted it was 

brought to Wuhan by the U.S. military

to embarrass, defame and contest the rise

of the economic/political behemoth. Now

it is both the unaware world and the unwary

vector-nation sharing the distinction none

quite appreciate; Living In Interesting Times.
