The Market
Regardless of where they existthere is a timelessness in thepresence of traditional informalbazaars and markets where vendorsanxiously scan passing facesfor that silent eye-lock thatmight lead to a purchase of wares.Consumer goods of the mostelemental needs to place on theevening table's repast, floralofferings to adorn that table,hand-sewn garments orhand-crafted jewellery tobargain and claim on whim.In these markets, East meets West, the South bisects the North, thebuzz of commerce prevails asgoods are hawked and bantererupts in conventional currencyexchange or traditional barter.
