There are many ways to effect communication
not all requiring language since body 'language'
and facial expressions are often more than
adequate to convey emotions and impressions
linking events to affects on humanity but none
are as efficient and explicit as the use of speech
whose language and descriptive emotional
verities fully convey what is meant. So it is a
true assault against sensibilities and respect for
language when it becomes debased and entirely
banalized when descriptive words denoting certain
very special events and conditions assume a
more casual use still meaning to convey disgust
and horror at the human condition and the
capacity of humans to inflict evil on one another
when words such as 'racism', 'Holocaust' and
'genocide' are flung about casually for effect to
evoke an outcome in no measure reflecting reality.
