The Misanthrope

Just as well that
the nature of Nature
is to create unendingly
and without bias, leaving
her creatures to the struggle
of the primary focus
of survival. Just as
well it is not in her nature
to sit back and contemplate
what she has wrought
but she obviously finds
no value in sitting in
judgement by evaluating
worth. That said, if she
were in the least wise
contemplative she would
surely despair at the
bulk of humanity
with their pitiful egos
desperate envy and
violently expressive distemper.
