Dark Sprites
What impertinence! Only the
young, you say? True, that's so.
Our two black-as-Hades
little mugwumps feel that
the black cat from next door
is almost family and don't mind
getting warmly familiar with
him. But he's an elderly cat
and grumpy as elders tend
to be, forever snarling and
lunging, claws seriously
extended. No matter, they
may scatter at first, but they
return for another standoff.
Can puppies giggle and guffaw?
