Dominating The Conversation
Like any mother grown wearyof blame and complaints, Naturetoo resorts to tricks masqueradingas treats, for one becomes theother when timing is somehowinappropriate. Yes, she has givenus seasons and climate extremes, those character-forming exposuresthat teach patience, restraint, forbearance and hope, but theconstant familiarity and irritationof those extremes of heat andalternately cold atmospheres leaveus disgruntled and peevish. For herpart, Nature expostulates there issimply no pleasing us; complain ofPolar climatic seasons and sherelents, bringing us the searingSahara. She is a devious tease.
