Israel and Jews: Exceptional

International conventions on the legality

of warfare hold that a nation attacked in an

act of war has the unfettered, lawful right in

international law to defend itself through a

counteroffensive launched in response, to

destroy the enemy that sought its downfall.

And when that enemy launched its act of war

by targeting civilians for mutilation, rape and

slaughter, reserving to itself the right to abduct

children, women, the elderly and all those seen

as vulnerable to a sadistic savagery unrecognized

in the modern era, all the more compelling the 

response meant to free the victims from ongoing

brutality titillating their captors. Israel's invasion

of Gaza is entirely justified, the shocked international

community felt over the raw barbarity of the October

7 invasion responded. And then terrorism central's

public relations went into overdrive, stressing the

world with claims of Israeli genocidal intentions

claiming the lives of women and children in Gaza

and the world turned baleful eyes to accusations

of inhumanity in Israel's haste to demolish the

Palestinian death cult fixated on its destruction.

Ah, it is Israel, after all, the Jews' retaliatory 

excesses not to be countenanced as 'peace' activists

march in solidarity with the terrorist horde and

Western leaders call for ceasefire. War is like that

though when Dresden was overwhelmingly fire

bombed and civilian deaths were estimated

between 35,000 and 100,000, the Allied price

to 'stop the war'. Between the nuclear bombing of

Hiroshima and Nagasaki, over 200,000 Japanese

civilians perished. In that era, the Holocaust took

6 million Jewish lives. Jews and Israel -- sigh --

always expendable, never satisfy the human rights

demands of the global industry of peace and war.

The Emerging Spring Forest

 

It may be raw and blustery despite the turn of the 

season toward spring, but the warming sun mediates 

between cold and wind and catkins can be seen 

beginning to droop from wild hazelnut shrubs 

along the forest pathways. Squirrels on the early

spring chase of mating, oblivious to the presence

of woodland interlopers, hawks returning to their

breeding grounds.The dun monopoly of spring has 

overtaken the stark white-and-black of winter. Sap 

is rising from tree roots to their crowns to remind the

deciduous forest it's time to renew their foliage. 

On the forest floor remnants of winter's icepack linger. 

The forest creek is awash with last fall's discarded 

leaves and winter's fallen detritus. Robins fly over 

the rushing water as it hastens to join a mighty river 

downstream. Mallards stop over to rest on their reverse

migration heading to the northern boreal forests. A 

territorial conversation between interrogating barred owls 

alerts to a dispute. Wherever owls tend to roost and

nest the azure of the sky beyond the forest canopy hosts 

outspread black wings, the rough caws of a murder of 

crows revealing the presence of a haunted predator.

Nation of Genocide and The Death Cult

In a world whose alpha creatures sporadically 

undergo widespread waves of raging lunacy 

expressed through hatred and violence

surely this is the ultimate irony, when the

sole country that set out to embark on an

ambitious campaign of world conquest

engaged in a side issue of genocidal savagery

allocating state resources even while at war

to the intention of exterminating millions of

Jews to rid the world of a human 'pestilence'

now passionately commits itself to Jewish

defence against the genocidal plans of an

Islamist terror machinery intent on destroying

Jewish lives and the Jewish state meant to

shield Jews from harm. Germany, which has

absorbed millions of Arabs/Muslims/Palestinians

grapples with a rise in state-forbidden antisemitism

preying on Jewish lives once again and this

Germany of the present day exercises its resolve

to atone for its unforgivable blight in humanity by 

refusing to tolerate from another source a vow

of committing ethnic/religious obliteration of a

people long accustomed to rejection, slander, libel

threats, pogroms, exile and endless massacres.

 

Cultural, Tribal, Sectarian Medievalism

 

Is the language in a dialect different than

your own speaking of courage and honour

debased and corrupted or is it authentic to

an era of Medieval thought and practise and

your own a mere pretender? Those societies

comprised of tribal, cultural, sectarian values

for whom courage is conflated with the will

and the intent of vengeance over an ancient 

lost battle to embark on a mission of slaughter

to 'correct' history, honour restored through

the satisfaction of blood-letting heralding

great celebrations in the re-arrangement of

historical antecedents cannot be compatible

with societies that long since moved on from

brutalism to agreement in the quality of altruism

performing deeds uplifting the social order in

an orderly, civil, socially-mandated manner

improving quality of life for all, as a requisite

to good citizenship. But just as rot in one area

of the social weal will inevitably creep into

the wider spectrum of society where civility

and care for the well-being of all that comprise

that society, the old adage of wine and water

brings proportionality and moderation, the

Medieval urge to exact revenge to restore

honour seeps its way infecting the social order

when societies advanced in human rights open

their borders to any who have failed to move

on from base tribal and religious beliefs in the

sacred nature of a god promoting division and

violence until all are consumed with toxic vitriol.

The Battleground

 

 

The answer to the questions come from the very 

highest authority, those who can handily quote history 

as far back as the mind can imagine for there lies 

the enduring proof of those who now in their wisdom 

shake their heads and repeat ad nauseum it's them

again. And the them in question shudder for they 

know their history all too well since it begins and 

never ends with those darkly sinister tales of blood

vermin and pestilence. It began when plagues struck 

Egypt and Jewish slaves took their freedom in an 

escape that brought them to the promised land. And 

from there under the auspices of a sole, furious God 

they conspired to rule the world, capturing disease

and then dispersing it to the unaware, poisoning wells 

to destroy tribal villages and their inhabitants

kidnapping children to drain their blood for the

matzo that signifies Egypt's loss. The Black Plague?

Jewish conspiracy cabals causing the death of millions

more than when Nazi Germany tried to favour the

world by acting as global executioner. Coronavirus?

Forget Wuhan, don't blame the Chinese, look upon

those who seeded the virus in China unbeknownst

to the Chinese. The Jews, whose kabbalah flirtation

with the occult created the Golem standing mute and

huge prepared to battle civilization to the ground.

Islamophobia?

Islamophobia? Now what IS that. A word

a curse, a malediction, certainly a pejorative

yet an acknowledgement that from the

sacred text of the Koran and the Hadiths

messages to the faithful inspire them to

jihad by any means for this is expected of

ardent Muslims for whom Islam is the

guiding light of their lives in every

conceivable way for they must please 

the rigorous comportment demands of 

Allah and Prophet Mohammad through

strict adherence to the foremost principle

of conflict with unbelievers. To turn them

toward the sacrament of allegiance so their

lives may be spared, spurning war, welcoming

peace to be found only within Mohammad's

purloined Islam with all its elements of

Judaic structure and belief while campaigning

to destroy Israel and Jewish life, unworthy as

the crucible of God's promise. Islamophobia?

what is that other than the recognition that it

is from Islam that terror floods the world of 

non-believers. Terror whose purpose is to strike

fear, to attack, to mutilate, to rape, to destroy

and pillage, and finally to bring peace to the 

unworthy world when all those who refuse

surrender are slaughtered while the fearful

remainder are converted. Islamophobia? That

would be the reality that even among Muslim

adherents faithful to Islam, death stalks them

for ancient clan, tribal and sectarian animosity

ensures that within the realm of peace, war

will never cease as Islam devours its own.

 

 

When The Price Is Right

 

Who among us might have imagined we would

ever peer through the lens of human rights

to see those two stalwarts of the permanent

United Nations Security Council, China and

Russia belabouring the world in outrage

over tiny Israel's march into Gaza in self

defense following savage atrocities mounted

by Palestinian terror groups in slaughtering

Jews while characteristically sacrificing the

lives of ordinary Palestinians to shield their

leaders and operatives from retribution for

their murderous assaults. But there they are --

Russia which mounted a deadly war against

Ukraine and joined another in Syria where its

warplanes and deadly munitions have killed

tens of thousands. And China whose penchant

for swelling its sovereign territory swallows

those of nearby nations and in the process

inevitably killing those who protest, undertaking

're-education', female sterilization, abduction

of children and harvesting of human organs.

The returns are handsome; a deep-sea port and

airbase for the Kremlin's Putin in Syria, and an

expanded Russian Federation in Ukraine, while

Beijing's Xi damns the splittists, extolling harmony

among captured populations resisting the Chinese

juggernaut of expansion. There is territorial

ambition accompanying lost lives and there is

ancestral heritage renewed; on the one hand the

UN becomes the tail that wags the Security Council

and on the other deplores Israel's right of existence.

 

Rampant Crime Solution in Canada

Concerned, aggravated and furious over the 

high cost of living while the incidence

of public crime is exploding and you're

livid that Canadian laws are being flouted

and criminals and their gangs are treated

by government agencies with proverbial

kid gloves? Have some compassion; the

Liberal government of Justin Trudeau and

the Supreme Court of Canada, its minions

and provincial courts certainly exercise soft

solutions to runaway crimes of home invasions

spiralling vehicle hijackings, stealth import

of illegal weaponry, drug dealing and sudden

death by irked homeless with mental conditions

lashing out at unaware pedestrians and public

transit users. The woke response to growing

crime statistics, is giveaway drugs at 'safe

consumption sites', short and easy bail conditions

special consideration and short sentences to

people of colour and Indigenous malefactors

acknowledging the hard row they hoe in life.

Benevolent judges hand out sentence gifts to

the grifters, dealers, gangsters who appreciatively

will not threaten and stalk them in revenge.

Have a heart, people, criminals have to live, too.

 

Tragedy Strikes Russia

And so, Vladimir, there is nothing quite so 

convincing as very personal experience in this 

world raw with the wounds of Islamist terror.

Your casual oblivion over the savagery of that

planned-and-executed assault on Israelis by

the death cult whose exploits you are capable

of shrugging off in the base interests of 

re-establishing a useful presence in the Arab

world of fractious intolerance of a Jewish

presence where the most bestial sexual assaults

and pitiless torment of women, children, elderly

all innocent of provocation but targeted for rape

mutilation, death, hostage-taking not your problem

until suddenly it is. Just as Israel's military strikes

back at the terrorists bedeviling its existence

earning your censure, so too will the Kremlin's

forces make every effort to destroy the shifting

shadowy presence of the Islamist scourge that

threatens the world order, in a sense mirroring

what you yourself have imposed on Eastern Europe

threatening destruction and the spectre of an

unthinkable nuclear winter should a security

threat loom over Russia in support of Ukraine.

The PIJ Terror In Jenin

How deep and intense can the phenomenon of

mass hatred become when a people exposed

from childhood to the glories of martyrdom

achieved while dedicated to the prospect of

becoming mass murderers for recognition of a 

viral detestation of another people for their

presumed usurpation of land coveted by those

who think of themselves as victims even while

acting out sadistic savagery on helpless people?

Ask the death cult members in their various

guises and they will spit the venom of lethal

rage that among their own are traitors to their

cause of extirpating Jews from their indigenous

land of birth in claiming ancestral privilege.

As deadly as twin brothers, one of whom will

confess to collaborating with Israel, signing 

his death warrant, delivered courtesy of his

enraged twin. Palestinian Islamic Jihad follows

the modus operandi of Hamas and others of the

Palestinian terrorist groups for whom there is

no mercy on suspicion of a traitor among them

when the most intimate of family ties in tribal

settings will not serve to save the life of one of

their own, so despised for his sympathy for the

abominated that his defection from his clan in 

favour of an enemy assured his untimely death and

even in death he is spat upon, his body desecrated.

Red Cross Helped Thousands of Nazis To Escape

Ah, the time-honoured humanitarian work of 

the International Committee of the Red Cross.

Truly an organization to admire for its dedication

to the wide public weal. Always there throughout

the globe when disaster strikes and people are

in dire need of compassion and assistance. As

were escaping Nazis at the conclusion of WWII.

There they were, the ICRC, issuing documents

to the murderers of Jews, Roma, Gays and

political opponents. Those were the halcyon

days of institutionalized mass murder under a

fascist regime intent on ridding the world of the

inconvenience of living with Jews in their midst.

That same ICRC that ignored the pleas of Jews

to intervene and bring humanitarian relief to the

vast numbers of residents of death camps. The very

ICRC that could not see its way toward bringing

comfort to the Israeli  hostages held by terrorist

Hamas in Gaza. By coincidence the very same

humanitarian group that issues notifications to

the Palestinian Authority authorizing their kind

dispensation through 'pay and slay' rewarding those

who murder Jews for their martyrdom sacrifice

answering the call of Palestinian leadership to use

any means conceivable to kill Jews, the better to

clear the way to 'Palestinian statehood' free of the

aggravating presence of the Jewish State of Israel.

 

Beware the Hungry Wolf

There, another jolt to the global consciousness.

Not the first, not the last, repeated in sly

indirect notices, and on occasion brought out

anew in harsh measure. The man who might

teach Machiavelli the dark art of instilling

unease and a haunting fear in the world body

not merely restricted to Eastern Europe has yet

again issued that sobering reminder of a well

stocked arsenal of deadly nuclear weapons. His

to dangle dangerously before the incredulous

eyes of disbelieving world leaders. The message

simple enough. They will be used should his

country's security ever be endangered. No one

tampers with the sovereign agency of Russia.

The sovereign autonomy and security of Russia's

neighbours on the other hand are Vladimir Putin's

for the taking and his territorial ambitions exceed

a mere few Baltic nations; he pines for the glory

of a time now past when tentacled satellites 

cringed whenever the Kremlin flexed its power.

 

Canada's Voters' Remorse

Narcissistic sociopaths, confident and buoyed 

by their own self-assurance exuding socially 

enhanced charisma experience no difficulty 

in persuading a wide public in search of a 

strong leader so they can rely on the principled 

values of a man lacking the experience required

as a chief administrator of a nation to do justice 

to those expectations. Acclaimed for a dynastic 

family name and a cheerful mien, and elevated 

to the highest political office of the country, he

set about methodically transforming a once-proud

nation to his personal warped vision, elevating 

the concept of a post-national state where all 

would be welcome to revel in his penchant of 

catering to great swaths of migrants, refugees 

and immigrants whose own cultural values 

history, heritage, tribalism, sectarianism ensured

they would never integrate into the social fabric

of the existing society. In his pursuit of a nation

transformed, this prime minister flouted the laws

of the land, created regional divisions, set about

pauperizing the country, abandoned support of

like democracies, embraced authoritarian regimes

while becoming increasingly autocratic and 

immune to the pleas of original citizens set upon

by the influx of an oppressive, violent racist

demographic of growing dimensions who fully

appreciative of their freedom to threaten and

create upheaval would be certain to repay that

opportunity with the confidence of votes to

retain his position. A population in turmoil and

profound regret for their choice, now bemoans

their nation's downfall at the hands of a charlatan

whose persuasive promises and smiles duped them.

 

The Desolation of Abandonment

This is the desolating reality that Jews in Israel 

face, that compassion and sympathy teeter on 

the brink of vestigial Jew-hate edging to the fore

re-ignited all too readily balancing heavily against 

situations that inspire horror and disgust when 

sadistic violence of horrific dimensions occur 

to innocent children, girls and women beset

by organized mass rapes and the world turns

away. It is always Jews who can look after

themselves; empathy and compassion withheld

retained for those who wallow in cries of eternal 

victimhood, capturing the pity and attention of 

an international community quick to accuse 

Israeli soldiers of war crimes in suspected rapes 

for which no evidence exists. The inhuman carnage 

wrought by Palestinian terrorists and civilians 

raping, torturing and murdering Jewish girls and 

women was well documented on October 7 and 

the world yawned. Yet Palestinian terrorists 

casually recounting their exploits in mass rape can 

be excused; their angst boiled over into a Hellscape.

As prisoners of the Israeli military should the

question be broached how they might feel in

return if their mothers, wives, daughters were

raped and slaughtered, global condemnation is 

swift accusing Israel of perpetrating war crimes 

by tormenting prisoners of war whose love of

barbaric bloodlust and cruelty condemns them.

Homeless in Canada

Somehow, Canada has lost its history

and heritage, its values skewed by a Liberal

government led by a post-national leader

who made diversity, equity, inclusion its

calling card and though inclusion and the

concept of 'belonging' to the social sphere

Justin Trudeau flaunts, spurning the old

verities of nationhood, pride in history and

equality, those once on the outskirts of 

society are now dominantly prominent and

for their bloc votes immigrants valued well

beyond the opinions of the original national

population. Fealty to other democracies can

be questioned as can their defense when they

are Jews with a state of their own. And though

ancestral heritage, ethnicity and social culture

of immigrants and migrants is nurtured, not

so that of Jews. Where racism is deplored in

this new Canada, antisemitism is permissible.

A head of a non-existent state is honoured

despite his vicious Jew-hate and Holocaust

denial, a man who lauds the courage of those

who murder Jews, earning themselves the

status of heroes and handsome royalties.

Yet these are the cultivated friends and allies

of this Liberal-Trudeau government that has

shamed Canada and betrayed its Jews.

The Trust Of Collegial Nations

 

These are the nations with common values

those who embrace Democracy, as Liberal

stalwarts in a world where dictatorships

and autocracies follow rules of their own

starkly oppressive and human-rights-abusing. 

Steadfast in support of others like themselves

they present a global bulwark against chaos

and social, tribal, sectarian violence. The

emerging democracies, the conservative as

well, all members of a mutually reliant pact

of support in sovereignty. Yet wait; exceptions

exist when a sole democracy within an area

dominated by kingdoms and theocracies

sheikhdoms and dictatorships is violently

invaded, responding in defense through the

intent to deweaponize, uproot, defang and

defeat the terrorist power intent on its total

destruction. A death cult that utilizes its own

population as human shields, sacrifices to its

goal of annihilating the Jewish State, relishing

their deaths as a spur for commanding the

censure by Israel's democratic cohorts for its

assumed lack of compassion as manipulated

instrument of Gaza's death count, excusing

Hamas, trivializing the murder of Israelis.

 

Spiritless Society

 

In a world captured in shallow popular

imagination of discontent with life 

where social media illustrates images

of the lifestyles of those who have

reached the pinnacles of success 

judged by their status as celebrities

whose fame as public figures skilled

in staged presentations as 'artists' of

the screen, rhyming staccato statements

of sociopathic sentiments, singers and

dancers, comics and raconteurs, facile

authors of self-help solutions toward a

dubiously improved lifestyle, bringing

the demi-monde into full-lit prominence

as naughty but nice, the fringe of the

minority among the gender-confused 

titillating the sensibilities of a scandal

starved public, politicians seeking their

standard of popular acclaim in search

of longevity in governance, societal

contortions reversing the status quo to

a nightmarish hellscape courtesy of

Hieronymus Bosch, all seeking the award

of public acclaim for turning culture on

its head and social awareness soiling

the human values of a spiritless society.

 

 

Forevermore

There is pride and release of tension

inherited through generations of

heritage-deprived Jews in the full

realization of their return to Zion

the beloved land of their ancestors.

Jews stand defiant against a world 

of cynicism balking at the recognition

of the Return and Rebirth of Judaic

patrimony heralding their birthright as

People Indigenous to the land of

Judaea, the promise to themselves of

a return from exile to Jerusalem the

golden city of legendary King David

our Biblical Prince of Destiny. And

to those who deny our right of return

to reclaim our historical patrimony

bringing the diaspora to its rightful

place of inheritance we say begone!

What is inherited and cherished

will remain with its rightful heirs.

 

Eternal Zion

 

Patiently we waited, from antiquity to the

present as generation followed generation 

and countless years passed while we in the 

interim shared with the world at large our 

inherited endowments everlastingly seeking 

that place of our own, recalling the promise 

and the exile. Assuring ourselves we would

return to our origins to reclaim our heritage

joining with those who faithfully awaited 

reunion. All the while as we wandered and settled 

across the globe seeking temporary shelter from

the never-ending gales of grudging permission 

flaring now and again into winds of warning 

tornadoes of rejection. Perseverance and hope 

we nurtured in the faith of return, adamant that 

we would in time. And when that time arrived 

it was not without desolation that the price was 

a Holocaust of bleak death and unappeasable

sorrow. Zion beckoned and we aroused ourselves

to the enchantment of memory and desire.

Our dire need of haven from a world forever 

hostile, dedicated to annihilating our presence 

we endured the utterly unendurable to achieve 

the promise. Spirit intact, dignity and pride moved

us forward and anchored us to the land of our

birth, where we belong. Those errant winds

raging dissonant against our intent seek to

dislodge us, render us helpless, consign us

to wandering once again but cannot prevail.

The world's antipathy will never again

move us from our ancestral belonging. We

spurn its sanctions as predestination has

the final word, our pride and dignity intact.

 

Pathetic You

Such unmitigated spite, oh world

of virtuous pretense. Does your

satisfaction in life really depend

on denigrating those few whose

moral compass so far eclipses yours

whose values and purpose in life

so much superior to yours

whose actions and the genius

among them capable of presenting

to the world at large advances in

the humanities, arts and science 

breakthroughs in discovery and

solace in the beauty of their vision

so adamantly piques your resentment

that you prefer to condemn and revile

even while enjoying the fruits of their

intellect and aesthetic in the pretense

of your superiority to that of the 

authenticity of a people's genius you

heap with negativity. Woe, pathetic you.

Eternal Wanderers

An ancient wandering people

the source in antiquity of

the world's spiritual devotion

whose revelations and prophets

alerted humanity to its destiny

to strive to become as one

with the angels, to look  upon

others as brothers and sisters

offering kindness and humility

to grasp their better natures

as they were themselves taught

to become a light unto others

even as bereft of their heritage

of the land that begot them.

Exiled, they wander and settle

over the vast ages of humanity

their presence tolerated until it no

longer is recognized for the value

they bring in human endeavour 

then once again exiled, reviled and

rejected. Their ancient message

resonates among the vast hordes

whose piety toward the Spirit of

the God of Abraham fails to

encompass the people whose

message bore them to the faith.
