Where, we wonder now, wentthat spirit of benevolencethat surely inspired natureto respect her own ancient pactwith the seasonal elementsassured by her majestic edictthat there is a time and a placefor everything and to each isowed temporary advantageeventually to be ceded toseasons whose time has come.The wistful welcome eachallotted at their time of graceample regard in recognition oftimeless order of endless days.The never-ending cycle of deathand birth, ruin and renewal asthe Universe itself ordersentropy, fusion, fission and being,dimensional and unseen, windingthe clockwork springs of life.
