Independence is surrendered
with life-sharing intent
when autonomous
decision-making is
no longer possible in
a collaboration of dual
interests, where
unilateral action
without consultation
has unavoidable
consequences; say, those
leading to outraged
disbelief, the breakdown
of trust and aggravated
psychic wounds. Grounds,
the unwary should be warned,
for the sundering of that
erstwhile, frail alliance.
