A delicate patter
of spring rain
amuses itself
tip-toeing lightly
through my garden
spurring green shoots
and buds, spring bulbs
and unfurling ferns
to poke themselves
bashfully into
renewed presence.
A pale green blush
has captured the
garden trees
suddenly spurting life.
